Dear Parents,
Lava Ridge Intermediate School is looking for 4 parents who are willing to serve on our Community Council for the next 2-3 years. We have scheduled 4 meetings throughout the year (Sept. 21, Nov. 16, Jan 18, and Mar.7). All meetings are planned for 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Self nominations for the Community Council are now open. If you are interested in being a part please email Mrs. Gubler at kgubler@lavaridge.net your name and a brief statement as to why you would like to be a part of LRIS Community Council.
The existing Community Council will review the names and statements, put together a ballot that will be emailed to all parents, and parents will have an opportunity to vote for the 2011-2012 council either electronically or paper/pencil ballot.
